Enough is enough.

Hypocrisy abounds. The Republicans continue to wail about how the Democrats kept Biden's mental decline under wraps so they could retain power. How are the Republicans different today? I see no difference. So much money was spent to get Trump back into office, the Republicans are not likely to let it go to waste, regardless of the consequences. Try to make any sense of what he says. You can't do it. He is embarrassing us before the whole world. How can any conscious, reasoning person believe that he cares about Amercian citizens? Maybe it is because he says he does in words that max out at two syllables? Do Trump believers REALLY think he cares at all about them? Apparently, the answer is yes, because they will not hold him accountable for unsubstantiated claims, baseless numbers, exaggerations, and outright lies. Is it true or is it just his sycophantic administration closing ranks and ignoring the rising discontent across the country. We the people have to wait another eighteen months to speak. Barring an event of Biblical proportions, the Democrats will then establish substantial majorities in both the House and Senate. Until then, Trump will continue to claim that the country is behind him. What can we do right now?
We need a handful of Republican senators to stand up and be counted in defeating the terrible budget the Trump Administration has proposed, and the House has passed. Senators Ron Paul of Kentucky and Ron Johnson of Wisconsin are the first. We need a couple more to join them and scuttle this ironically inaccurately named "Big, Beautiful, Bill". The bill needs to be changed drastically for the good of the country and to put the Trump train on a siding until the mid-term elections. Trump is showing marked signs of mental decline. We are not far from hearing serious, not just partisan, calls for impeachment. We have seen a small example of what a Trump-incited mob can do. It is questionable whether the nation could stand the impeachment of and the removal from office of the President. It is doubtful his Cabinet would ever step up to do their duty regardless of how bad he gets.
The Trump agenda must be hobbled until we have a chance in 2028 to chart a better course.
