Why I established this blog

For years I enjoyed interacting with friends and acquaintances on Facebook. The platform provided an ideal, easy to use medium for keeping in touch with them. There was a free exchange of opinions and ideas. We could agree to disagree and still remain friendly. The second coming of Donald Trump changed things for me. I voted for him, but I feel I must speak up when I find his actions and behavior to be questionable. I have found that some of my very best, long-term friends, find it unacceptable for me to criticize Trump or his administration in any way. I highly value those friends and don't want to lose them. Henceforth, I will refrain from making political comments on Facebook and use this blog instead. Readers are encouraged to share their thoughts. I am still learning, even though I have lived well past the average life span for an American male. I thank God for the opportunity, every day.
