It's hard to keep my promise.....not to post political topic on my Facebook page...but I'm trying.

I was always sickened by the left-leaning lapdogs who made their way onto "news" programs as supporters of and apologists for Joe Biden. Today the right-leaning newspeak spinners are busy on behalf of Trump. Ten minutes on CNN today made me think I was watching Fox. They are all so disingenuous. They do seem to be reading from the same playbook regarding the recent dust up in the Oval Office, e.g., Zelensky was disrespectful and ungrateful. He purposely picked a fight with the most powerful man in the world and his maid in waiting. He left empty-handed and beaten. Here's the one that really tickles me: "Trump is so brilliant, he is always ten steps ahead of the rest of us.

Spin attempts notwithstanding, the whole world saw what happened. Zelensky came to D.C. hat in hand and ready to cooperate. Trump thought he had the upper hand and tried to bully Zellensky into signing an agreement that didn't include permanent cessation of the war. He couldn't keep his mouth shut and commenced to humiliate Zelensky in front of the whole world with his toady VP jumping in to land a few blows. Trump still left the room without his prize, the agreement to share in Ukraine's natural resources. He bragged about it in advance but a brave little man who wasn't wearing a suit left him empty handed and proceeded to elicit solid support from our European allies. Trump pathetically donned a MAGA hat while addressing reporters on the White House lawn. The whole world saw it.
